Texas Instruments AMC1400-Q1 Precision Isolation amplifier is a precision isolation amplifier that separates output and input circuits through an isolation gate. The barrier is highly resistant to magnetic field interference. The isolator is certified to provide enhanced current isolation up to 7.5kVRMS in compliance with DIN EN IEC 60747-17 (VDE 0884-17) and UL1577 standards. It supports operating voltages up to 2kVRMS.

The barrier separates devices operating at different common-mode voltage levels in the system and protects the low-voltage side from voltage shocks that may cause electrical damage and operator injury.Inputs to the Texas Instruments AMC1400-Q1 are optimized to connect directly to low-impedance shunt resistors or other low-impedance voltage sources with low signal levels. Low temperature drifts and excellent DC accuracy support accurate current control at power factor correction (PFC) levels, traction inverters, DC/DC converters, and other applications where high common-mode voltages, high altitudes, or high environmental pollution levels are required.

The AMC1400-Q1 comes in an extended 8-pin SOIC package. The device complies with AEC-Q100 standards for automotive applications and supports temperatures ranging from -40 °C to +125°C.
