Texas Instruments AMC23C12/AMC23C12-Q1 Isolated window comparator has a short response time. The leak-open output is separated from the input circuit by an isolation gate with high anti-magnetic interference capability. The isolator is certified to provide enhanced current isolation up to 5kVRMS in compliance with VDE 0884-17 and UL1577 standards. It also supports operating voltages up to 1kVPK.

     Texas Instruments AMC23C12/AMC23C12-Q1 Isolated window comparator has a short response time.      The comparison window is centered on 0V, which means that if the absolute value of the input voltage exceeds the trip threshold, then the comparator will trip. The trip threshold can be adjusted by a single external resistor in the range of 20mV to 300mV, so the comparison window ranges from ±20mV to ±300mV. When the voltage on the REF pin is greater than 550mV, the negative comparator is disabled and only the positive comparator operates normally. The reference voltage in this mode can be up to 2.7V. This mode is particularly useful for monitoring voltage sources.

 

     The open and leaky output on the device supports transparent mode (latched input connected to GND2), that is, the output follows the input state; Or latch mode, which clears the output at the falling edge of the latch input signal. AMC23C12/AMC23C12-Q1 in 8-pin wide-body SOIC package. It is rated for extended industrial temperature ranges from -- 40°C to +125°C.
