     The Texas Instruments LM5164 synchronous step-down converter is designed to regulate a wide input voltage range, minimizing the need for external surge suppression components.      The LM5164 integrates high - and low-side power MosFeTs with output currents up to 1 A. Constant-on-time (COT) control architecture provides a nearly constant switching frequency with excellent load and line transient response. LM5164 devices feature ultra-low I(Q) and diode emulation mode operation, high load efficiency, innovative peaking and valley overcurrent protection, integrated V(CC) bias power supply and boot diode, precise enable and input UVLO, hot shutdown protection, and automatic recovery. An open drain PGOOD indicator provides sequencing, fault reporting and output voltage monitoring.
