Texas Instruments TPSM82816 DC/DC Power modules are based on the fixed frequency peak power mode control topology. The power module is an efficient, easy to use synchronous DC/DC step-down power module with integrated inductors, pin-to-pin compatible 3A, 4A, and 6A.

The TPSM82816 module can operate in the adjustable frequency range of 1.8MHz to 4MHz and can be synchronized to the external clock in the same frequency range. The DC/DC module provides 1% output voltage accuracy in PWM mode, which helps achieve power supply design with high output voltage accuracy. The TPSM82816 module is used for optical modules, data center interconnection, signal measurement, source generation, instrumentation, patient monitoring and diagnosis, wireless infrastructure, and ruggedized communications.
