Texas Instruments INA241x current detection amplifier

     The INA241x is an ultra-precision bi-directional current sensing amplifier that measures the voltage drop of the shunt resistance in a wide common-model range from -5v to 110v, independent of the supply voltage. High precision current measurement is achieved through a combination of low bias voltage (Max. ±10 μV), small gain error (Max. ±0.01%), and high DC CMRR(typical 166 dB).

     The INA241x is designed for high voltage bidirectional measurement in switching systems that see large common-mode voltage transients at the device input. An enhanced PWM suppression circuit inside the INA241x ensures that signal perturbations at the output due to common-mode voltage transitions at the input are minimized.

     The operating voltage of the INA241x ranges from 2.7V to 20 V, and the output current is 2.5 mA. INA241x has five gain options :10v /V, 20v /V, 50v /V, 100v /V, and 200v /V. Multiple gain options allow optimization between available shunt resistance values and wide output dynamic range requirements.
