Texas Instruments LM25143/ LM25143-Q1 dual step-down DC/DC controller

     The Texas Instruments LM25143/ LM25143-Q1 dual synchronous step-down DC/DC controller is derived from the wide vin range controller family for high current single or double output. The LM25143 features a staggered, stackable, peaking current mode control architecture for easy loop compensation, fast transient response, excellent load and line regulation, and precise current sharing with parallel phases for higher output current.

     The high side switch provides a large step-down ratio (minimum turn-on time of 65ns) that can be converted directly from 12V or 24V input to the low voltage track, thereby reducing system complexity and cost.

     TI LM25143/ LM25143-Q1 Dual synchronous step-down DC/DC controllers continue to operate during input voltage drops as low as 3.5V, with almost 100% duty cycle if needed. The device supports 15μA no-load static current, and the output voltage can be adjusted to extend the working time of the battery-powered system. In addition, lower input static current and power loss can be achieved by feeding the LM25143/ LM25143-Q1 from the output of a switching regulator or other available power supply. The LM25143-Q1 component is certified for AEC-Q100 automotive applications.
