Texas Instruments LPV811 single-channel operational amplifier for "always on" sensing applications

     Texas Instruments' LPV811 operational amplifier is a family of ultra-low power precision operational amplifiers designed for "always on" sensing applications in battery-powered wireless and low-power wired devices. With a bandwidth of 8 kHz from 425 nA for static current and a cut compensation voltage of less than 300μV, the LPV811 amplifier provides the required accuracy while minimizing energy consumption in devices such as gas detectors and portable electronics where battery operation seems critical.

     In addition to having ultra-low power consumption, the LPV811 amplifier also has a fly-ampere-bias current CMOS input stage for impedance source applications. The LPV811 amplifier also features a negative-rail sensing input stage and a rail-to-rail output stage that oscillates within the millivolt range of the rail, maintaining the widest dynamic range possible. LPV811 is designed with electromagnetic interference protection to reduce the sensitivity of the system to unwanted RF signals from mobile phones, Wi-Fi, radio transmitters and tag readers.
