The Texas Instruments OPA593 Precision Operational Amplifier is a high voltage (85V), high precision, wide bandwidth (10MHz), high output current (250mA), unit-gain stable, power operational amplifier. The OPA593 uses laser trimming technology to improve offset voltage (20µV, typical) and offset voltage temperature drift (0.4µV/°C, typical), thus no calibration is required. The device has a multiplexer-friendly input, which can realize the differential input voltage range of the power rail and contribute to improving the stability of the multi-channel system.
An external resistor can be used to limit the current with a specified accuracy, providing a more accurate measurement. Under overcurrent or overheat conditions, the device will indicate the wrong operation by a status flag. The included disable function is used to turn off the device, thereby saving power and placing the output in a high impedance state.
Texas Instruments OPA593 has unit-gain stability and can be used as a high-impedance buffer. High signal gain can be achieved with wide band width and high voltage swing rate. Due to its high output current and capacitive drive, the device is capable of driving external field effect transistors (FETs) used to provide higher system currents, such as in digital power supplies.
