Texas Instruments TAS2783EVM Amplifier evaluation module

     The Texas Instruments TAS2783EVM Amplifier Evaluation Module (EVM) is designed to demonstrate the performance of the TAS2783 in a mono configuration. This design uses the onboard controller to provide a connection interface and provide voltage.

     The TAS2783 is a mono digital input Class d audio amplifier that efficiently drives peak power to a variety of speakers for a variety of audio applications. Y-bridge technology is implemented at the output stage of the amplifier, so the device can vary from two different voltage tracks depending on the size of the output required power, significantly increasing efficiency at lower power.

     The Class TAS2783 -d amplifier can provide 25W of output power to a 4 ohm load at a source voltage of 16V. To protect equipment from mechanical or electrical damage, integrated speaker voltage and current sensors provide real-time monitoring of speaker parameters such as DC resistance and resonant frequency. Ti TAS2783 supports SoundWire and I(2)S/TDM, I(2)C interfaces.
