Texas Instruments TLV61070A 2A Boost converter is a synchronous boost converter with an ultra-low input voltage of 0.5V. The device provides a power solution for portable devices and smart devices powered by a variety of batteries and supercapacitors.
The TLV61070A has A 2.5-A valley switching current limit typical throughout the temperature range. The TLV61070A has a wide input voltage range of 0.5V to 5.5V, which supports the application of supercapacitor backup power supply and can carry out deep discharge of supercapacitor.
When the input voltage is higher than 1.5V, the TLV61070A operates at 1MHz switching frequency. When the input voltage is below 1.5V to 1V, the switching frequency gradually drops to 0.5MHz. The TLV61070A enters power saving mode under light load conditions, thus maintaining high efficiency over the entire load current range.
The TLV61070A consumes 20µA static current from the VOUT under light load conditions. During shutdown, the TLV61070A is completely disconnected from the input power supply, consuming only 0.1µA of current, thereby extending battery life.
The TLV61070A features 5.7V output overvoltage protection, output short circuit protection and heat shutdown protection,The Texas Instruments TLV61070A comes in a very small solution size in a 2.9mm by 1.6mm SOT23-6 (DBV) package with a minimal number of external components.
