Texas Instruments TPS22811x Load switch

     Texas Instruments TPS22811x Load switches are a highly integrated set of power distribution solutions in a small package. The device supports the use of a minimum number of external components to control and monitor the power rail.

     The output conversion rate and surge current can be adjusted using an external capacitor. If the input exceeds the adjustable overvoltage threshold, the load is protected from input overvoltage conditions by shutting off the output. The device incorporates a fast trip response to prevent serious output failures during steady-state periods.

     The device provides accurate analog detection of the output load current and a good indication of the digital power supply to facilitate system monitoring and diagnosis.

     The device comes in a 2 x 2mm, 10-pin HotRod QFN package that improves heat dissipation and reduces system footprint. The Texas Instruments TPS22811x has an operating junction temperature range of -- 40°C to +125°C.
