Texas Instruments TPS543B22 Synchronous step-down Converter

Texas Instruments TPS543B22 Synchronous step-down Converter is a high efficiency 18V, 20A converter with internally compensated fixed-frequency Advanced Current Mode (ACM) control architecture. The fixed frequency controller can operate in the range of 500kHz to 2.2MHz and can be synchronized with an external clock via the SYNC pin.

The TPS543B22 converter includes a high precision voltage reference, two-wire remote sensing, optional soft start time, and monotone boot to pre-biased output features. Additional features include optional current limits, adjustable UVLO (via EN pins), and full fail-safe. The converter comes in a small 2.5mm x 4.5mm HotRod™ WQFN-FCRLF package. The TPS543B22 converter is used in wireless and wireline communications infrastructure equipment, fiber optics and fiber networks, test and measurement, and medical and health care.
