Texas Instruments TPS7A13 300mA ultra low differential Pressure regulator

     Texas Instruments TPS7A13 300mA Ultra Low Pressure Differential (LDO) Regulator is a small low pressure differential voltage regulator (LDO) with excellent transient response. The device provides up to 300mA of current with excellent AC performance (load and line transient response). The input voltage ranges from 0.7V to 2.2V and the output voltage ranges from 0.5V to 2.05V with ultra-high accuracy of 1% across load, line and temperature ranges.

    The main power supply path can be connected to the power supply whose voltage is at least 50mV higher than the output voltage through the IN pin. All electrical characteristics (including excellent output voltage tolerance, transient response and PSRR) are specified for the input voltage (100mV higher than the output voltage), thus achieving high efficiency. The regulator uses an external high VBIAS voltage rail to power the LDO's internal circuits, supporting a very low input voltage. For example, the IN pin supply voltage can be the output of an efficient DC/DC step-down regulator, while the BIAS pin supply voltage can come from a rechargeable battery.

     The Texas Instruments TPS7A13 is equipped with an active dropdown circuit for rapid discharge of the output when it is in the disabled state and provides a known startup state. The TPS7A13 is available in a subcompact 0.71mm × 1.0mm, 6-point DSBGA package, making it ideal for space-constrained applications.
