Texas Instruments UCC21737-Q1 Single-channel gate driver is a current isolated gate driver designed for use with SiC MOSFETs and IGBTs, operating at voltages up to 2121V DC, offering advanced protection features, best-in-class dynamic performance, and robustness. The device has up to ±10A peak pull current and perfusion current.

The input side is isolated from the output side by SiO2 capacitive isolation technology. This feature supports up to 1.5kVRMS operating voltage and 12.8kVPK surge immunity, with a grid life of over 40 years. It also has low part-to-part offset and > Common mode noise suppression (CMTI) of 150V/ns.

Texas Instruments UCC21737-Q1 features advanced protection features such as fast overcurrent and short circuit detection, fault reporting, and shunt detection support. It also comes with active Miller pliers and input and output side power UVLO to optimize switching characteristics and robustness for SiC and IGBT. The ASC function can be used to force power on when the system fails. This feature further improves the driver's versatility, simplifies the system design effort, reduces the size, and reduces the cost.
