Texas Instruments offers High Immunity, 5.7 KV enhanced single - and three-way digital isolators

Texas Instruments' ISO7830/31/10/10F is a high-performance single channel and three channel digital isolator with 8000 V (PK) isolation voltage. The isolation certification of these equipment has been strengthened according to VDE, CSA and CQC. Isolators provide high electromagnetic immunity, low power consumption and low emissions, and isolate CMOS or LVCMOS digital I/O. Each isolated channel has a logic input and output buffer separated by a silicon dioxide (SiO (2)) insulating barrier.

     Texas Instruments ISO7830/31/10/10F is a high performance single - and three-channel digital isolator with 8000 V(PK) isolation voltage. These devices have enhanced isolation certification according to VDE, CSA and CQC. Isolators provide high electromagnetic immunity and low power consumption with low emissions while isolating CMOS or LVCMOS digital I/ o. Each isolated channel has a logical input and output buffer separated by a silica (SiO(2)) insulating barrier.

 

     The ISO7830 and ISO7831 come with enable pins that can be used to place their respective outputs in high-impedance multi-driver applications and reduce power consumption. ISO7830 has three forward channels, ISO7831 has two forward channels, and neither has reverse channels.

 

     If the input power or signal is lost, the default output is high (ISO7830/31/10) and Low (ISO7830F/31F/10F). Used in conjunction with an isolated power supply, the device prevents noise current from the data bus or other circuits from entering the local ground and interfering with or damaging sensitive circuits.

 

    The EMC of ISO7830/31/10/10F has been significantly enhanced through innovative chip design and layout techniques to mitigate system-level ESD, EFT, surge, and emission compliance. ISO7830/31/10/10F is available in 16-pin SOIC wide-body (DW) packaging.
