Texas Instruments TPS543A26 Synchronous Buck Converter is a 16A synchronous SWIFT converter with internally compensated advanced current mode. The converter has a working input voltage range of 4V to 18V and an output voltage range of 0.5V to 7V. Applications for the step-down converter include wireless and wireline communications infrastructure equipment, fiber optics and fiber networks, test and measurement, and medical and health care.

Texas Instruments TPS543A26 Synchronous Step-Down Converter is a 16A synchronous SWIFT converter with internally compensated advanced current mode. The converter has a working input voltage range of 4V to 18V and an output voltage range of 0.5V to 7V. The TPS543A26 converter provides high efficiency with switching frequencies up to 2.2MHz. Therefore, the device is well suited for use in designs requiring small solution sizes.

The step-down converter comes in a small 2.5mm x 4.5mm HotRod™ WQFN-FCRLF package. The TPS543A26 converter is simple to use with a small number of external components and fast load transient response. Applications for the step-down converter include wireless and wireline communications infrastructure equipment, fiber optics and fiber networks, test and measurement, and medical and health care.

● Integrated with 6.5mΩ and 6.5mΩ MOSFET
● Input voltage range: 4V to 18V
● Output voltage range: 0.5V to 7V
● True differential remote sensing amplifier (RSA)
● Three optional PWM ramp options optimize control loop performance
● Five optional switching frequencies, such as 500kHz, 750kHz, 1MHz, 1.5MHz, and 2.2MHz
● It can be synchronized with the external clock
● Voltage reference accuracy: 0.5V, ±0.5% (in the whole temperature range)
● Optional soft startup time: 1ms, 2ms, 4ms, and 8ms
● Monotonic boot to pre-biased output
● Optional current limit for 16A and 12A operation
● Enable, with adjustable input undervoltage lock
● The power supply outputs the monitor normally
● Output overvoltage, output undervoltage, input undervoltage, overcurrent and overheating protection
● Working junction temperature range: -40°C to 150°C
● 2.5mm x 4.5mm, 17 pin WQFN-HR package with 0.5mm foot spacing
● Lead-free (RoHS standard)
● Compatible with the following converter pins: TPS543B22 and TPS543A22
● PSpice and SIMPLIS models are available
