     The Texas Instruments INA253 voltage Output CSA features a 2 mL integrated shunt resistor and is designed to monitor bidirectional current within a common model range of -4v to + 80v, independent of supply voltage. Three fixed gain options are available, including 100mv /A, 200mv /A and 400mv /A. The integration of precision resistors with zero-drift chop amplifiers provides calibrated equivalent measurement accuracy, ultra-low temperature drift performance of 15 ppm/°C, and an optimized Kelvin layout for sensing resistors.

     The INA253 uses an enhanced PWM suppression circuit to suppress large (dv/dt) signals for real-time continuous current measurement. Measurement is crucial for on-line current measurement in motor drive applications and solenoid valve control applications.

     The device works from a single power supply of 2.7V to 5.5V, drawing a maximum supply current of 3 mA. The gain version is specified in an extended operating temperature range (-40°C to +125°C) and is available in a 20-pin TSSOP package.
