M5Stack M5Paper v1.1 is a touch electronic ink display, which supports 16 gray levels and is driven by the Espressif Systems ESP32-D0WDQ6-V3 SoC. The electronic ink display uses the GT911 capacitive touch screen, which supports two point touch and multiple gesture controls. The M5Paper v1.1 monitor has low power consumption and can retain images even if the monitor is powered off. The electronic ink display integrates multi-function operation button, SHT30 temperature and humidity sensor, physical button and tf card (microSD) port for data storage.
The M5Paper v1.1 display also uses FM24C02 internal EEPROM chip, which provides 2k bit (256x8) EEPROM. Even when the device is turned off, the EEPROM can be used to store important data. The 1150mAh lipid battery can keep the equipment running for a long time, and the battery life can be further saved for use with RTC (BM8563). This helps the device go to deep sleep and wake it up when needed. Typical applications include Internet of Things terminals, e-books, industrial control panels, smart home panels, etc.
