The Molex MultiCat power connector adds medium power versions of 8 and 20 circuits

     Molex introduced medium power versions of 8 and 20 circuits with precision machined contacts for the MultiCat power connector system. The system has excellent durability and can be paired quickly to ensure the appropriate connection effect through connector positioning components, thus effectively applying to a wide range of industry categories. With this connector system, customers will be able to use reliable connectors in smaller Spaces while keeping costs to a minimum.

     This new connector system offers lightweight and compact wire-to-wire or wire-to-board configurations. An UL1977 finger test certified socket; -40 to +150˚C operating temperature; Two-piece non-polar interface back shell; Visual connector positioning confirmation to see if the connector is engaged correctly with the naked eye, and two keying options are available. The medium power version also has a lower contact resistance and provides solid contacts.
