GroupGet's PureThermal OpenMV is a high-end hybrid color and thermal imager for professional applications. The board's sensors include a 5 MP OV5640 camera module, a FLIR Lepton socket that can support any FLIR Lepton, and a VL53L0X laser rangefinder to help draw thermal images on color images with correct offset/scaling

GroupGets PureThermal OpenMV is a high-end hybrid color and thermal imager for professional applications. The board's sensors include a 5 MP OV5640 camera module, a FLIR Lepton socket that can support any FLIR Lepton, and a VL53L0X laser rangefinder to help draw thermal images on top of color images using the correct offset/zoom. Live video can be displayed via an onboard 4.3" 800x480 IPS TFT capacitive touch LCD or mirrored on an HDMI monitor. Users can program PureThermal OpenMV in Python as they would any OpenMV Cam, making it do whatever they want through the MicroPython API. The product is also supported by OpenMV and receives regular firmware updates as the OpenMV software library feature set expands.

PureThermal OpenMV is OpenMV Cam H7 Plus based on OpenMV. Users can program it using the OpenMV IDE. PureThermal OpenMV supports TensorFlow and can run neural networks. It can track colored objects, perform personnel detection and other tasks.

Use RTSP to stream MJPEG compressed images at speeds of up to 12 Mb/s, or connect to the Internet using onboard WINC1500 Wi-Fi SoC (FCC-certified). The chip is not currently installed on the PCBA due to supply chain constraints at the time of production.
