     The Texas Instruments INA233 device is a current, voltage, and power monitor with I(2)C, SMBus, and pmbus compatible interfaces for digital bus voltages from 1.8V to 5.0V. The device monitors and reports the values of current, voltage, and power. Integrated power accumulators can be used for energy or average power calculations. Programmable calibration of values, conversion times and average hours, combined with an internal multiplier, enables direct readout of current in amperes and power in watts.

     The INA233 induces a current in the common-mode bus voltage, which can vary from 0 V to 36 V, independent of the supply voltage. The device operates from a 2.7V to 5.5V supply, attracting a typical power current of 310 μs during normal operation. The device can be placed in a typical low power standby mode operation currently only 2μs. The device is specified in the operating temperature range from -40°C to +125°C and features up to 16 programmable addresses.
