The amplifier of Texas Instruments has advanced battery current management and integrated class H boost converter

     Texas Instruments TAS2110 is a digital input Class D audio amplifier in an algorithmically controlled 11v Class H booster QFN package. The pre-algorithm optimizes the boost level to match the output of the audio signal. This provides the required power for peak output, significantly reducing average power consumption compared to constant output gain. The algorithm is configured with the PurePath console GUI.

     A Class D audio amplifier can convert peak power of 6.1 W to a 4 ohm load at a battery voltage of 3.6 V. TAS2110 has an efficiency of 83.5% at 1 W and consumes less than 1 uA in hardware off mode. TAS2110 helps prevent system shutdowns with configurable power reduction protection and configurable V(BAT) tracking peak voltage limiter. TAS2110 QFN package compatible with two layer board design.
