The board-to-board connector minimizes the alignment error

     The AX01/MA01 is a series of floating board-to-board connectors from the Japanese Avionics Industry Corporation (JAE). They combine high transfer speeds (8Gbps+) with floating contacts to minimize pairing centering error. These connectors provide highly reliable components for the ADAS market, which is growing rapidly due to new regulations and legislation.

     They can be used in interference-sensitive applications that rely on real-time data transmission. For example, these systems include the vehicle's safety features (alarm system, cameras), navigation system, audio and radio modules. Connectors are available in 88 combinations for each series, 8 different styles (30-140), and 11 stack heights (8-30 mm). The AX01 and MA01 series provide a floating tolerance of ±0.5mm in the X and Y directions, providing misalignment and misalignment compensation during automated assembly and fit.

     MA01 Series connectors can be used at automotive operating temperatures up to 125C. The two-point contact structure provides highly reliable high-speed connections and uninterrupted continuity, even if a foreign object blocks a contact point. In addition, a special cover provides additional protection for the fit area before use, allowing for simple pickup and placement for automatic assembly. The SMT design also allows for simple assembly.
