The differential output of the accelerometer provides common-mode noise suppression

     PCB Piezotronics (PCB) has unveiled a new model 356A19, a low-deflated ICP triaxial accelerometer developed for precise high-frequency measurements up to 13kHz(±5%). It is the latest member of the miniature triaxial accelerometer family and comes in a 0.4" (10.2mm) compartment package.

     The device comes with a sealed, 0.40 "(10.2 mm) cube housing with 5'(1.5 m) integral cable to a 4 pin ¼-28 pin connector. A 5' matching extension cord to the BNC plug terminal is a supplied accessory. Model 356A19/NC is also available in a version without extension cable.

     TEDS(Sensor Spreadsheet) comply with IEEE 1451.4 and can be found in sensors, including data such as serial number, sensitivity and last calibration date. The small size and wide frequency range make the model ideal for modal and structural analysis, automotive ICE and electric vehicle powertrain development, vehicle system NVH, vibration testing in thermal vacuum environments, ESS and HALT/HASS testing for satellites, and vibration testing in confined Spaces or on small lightweight objects.
