The high resistance isolation barrier provides up to 5kVRMS of enhanced electrical isolation

     Texas Instruments AMC23C11 Precision Isolation comparator has short response time. The open drain output is separated from the input circuit by an anti-magnetic interference isolation barrier. According to VDE 0884-17 and UL1577, the barrier provides enhanced electrical isolation up to 5kV(RMS). It also supports operating voltages up to 1kV(PK).

     Jump gate thresholds are adjustable from 20mV to 450mV in low hysteresis mode and 600mV to 2.7V in high hysteresis mode via an external resistor. The open-and-drain output on the device supports a transparent mode (LATCH input bound to GND2), where the output follows the input state, or a latch mode, where the output is cleared at the drop edge of the latch input signal. Texas Instruments AMC23C11 comes in an 8-pin wide-body SOIC package. It is specified in the extended industrial temperature range -40°C to +125°C.
