Murata has further enhanced its portfolio of state-of-the-art wireless communication modules. Key applications include audio/video streaming, video conferencing systems, and VR and AR devices. The company's new LBEE5XV2EA solution features Infineon CYW55573 SoC. In addition to supporting 2.4GHz and 5GHz operations, the module can also transmit/receive data in the 6GHz band.

     Murata has further enhanced its portfolio of state-of-the-art wireless communication modules. Key applications include audio/video streaming, video conferencing systems, and VR and AR devices. The company's new LBEE5XV2EA solution features Infineon CYW55573 SoC. In addition to supporting 2.4GHz and 5GHz operations, the module can also transmit/receive data in the 6GHz band. As a result, customers will no longer be confined to already crowded areas of the RF spectrum, but can benefit from using relatively less crowded frequencies.

 

     In addition to the 6GHz Wi-Fi 6E feature, the solution has Bluetooth 5.3 built in. This, combined with LE Audio, can improve audio quality while reducing the associated power budget. The 20/40/80MHz channel is all integrated into the module with 1024-QAM modulation and 2x2 MIMO antenna arrangement. As a result, higher levels of data throughput -- up to 1.2Gbps -- can be achieved.

 

     Because the solution relies on the company's own high-performance components, it has a better optimized design than competing Wi-Fi 6E solutions from other manufacturers. This makes it significantly smaller (measuring just 12.5mm x 9.4mm x 1.2mm) and easy to install. The availability of FCC/IC and TELEC certifications, as well as conductive testing of CE, makes the process of conforming to standards more straightforward. This means that fewer engineering resources need to be invested to gain a time and cost advantage.
