The new small commercial inductors from Vishay operate at +155 C

     Vishay Intertechnology today announced the availability of three of its smallest commercial IHLP ultra-thin, high-current inductors to date: IHLP-1212AZ-51, IHLP-1212AB-51 and IHLP1212BZ-51. Vishay Dale IHLP-1212AZ-51, IHLP-1212AB-51 and IHLP1212BZ-51 have 3.3mm x 3.3mm 1212 dimensions and operating temperatures of +155 C, saving space for computer and telecommunications system applications. The height is only 1.0 mm.

     The device can be used for DC/DC converter energy storage at a frequency of up to 5 MHz. At the same time, the inductor has excellent noise attenuation performance in high current filtering applications in the self-resonant frequency (SRF) range. Applications include laptops, desktops, servers, small high-current power supplies, and distributed power systems and FPgas.

     The IHLP-1212AZ-51, IHLP-1212AB-51 and IHLP-1212BZ-51 pin packages are 100% lead-free (Pb) shielded composite structures, which reduce buzzing noise to ultra-low levels, have strong resistance to thermal shock, moisture, and mechanical vibration, and can handle high transient current spikes without saturation. Inductors comply with RoHS and Vishay green standards and are halogen-free.
