The ISM330DLC 6-axis IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit) is an extension of STMicroelectronics ultra-low power MEMS industrial-grade sensor product family with high precision and robustness. In a 2.5mm x 3mm x 0.83mm plastic contact array (LGA) system-level package.

     ISM330DLC integrates a 3-axis accelerometer and a 3-axis gyroscope, full scale users can choose, the highest measurement values are ±16g and ±2000dps, high measurement resolution, intelligent energy-saving function makes battery-powered industrial equipment more durable, Targeted applications include industrial Internet of Things systems, robots, drones, platform stabilizers, and vehicle-mounted information service systems. The accelerometer has a bandwidth of 3kHz and can also be used in vibration monitoring and compensation systems.

 

     The ISM330DLC consumes only 0.5mA of current in normal combination mode and 0.75mA of current in high performance mode. In addition, the ISM330DLC's integrated high-capacity FIFO memory allows the host system to efficiently retrieve data, intelligent functions and interrupt pins, including tilt detection, free fall detection, wake up, 6D / 4D direction, click and double click, enabling power-conscious application design to save more power. The ISM330DLC also has a sensor hub feature that effectively collects data from external sensors.

 

     The ISM330DLC is built with a wide range of industrial-grade design features, including dedicated configurable low-noise, low-delay signal processing channels and filters optimized for closed-loop control stability. The signal processing channel can be individually configured to output gyroscope or accelerometer data via an auxiliary SPI interface.
