Toshiba Launches Over voltage Protection Zener Diode with Ultrasmall SOD-962 Package

    Toshiba Electronic Components and Storage Devices Co., Ltd. introduced the "CSLZ series" Zener diode, which can protect semiconductor devices from switching surge/induced lightning surge [1] and electrostatic discharge (ESD). There are 10 products in this product line. Zener voltage covers 5.6V to 30V (typical value).

     The new Zener diode can prevent semiconductor devices from being affected by nanosecond ESD, microsecond to millisecond switching surges, and over-voltage pulses close to DC. For the first time, Toshiba Zener diode is packaged with ultra small SOD-962, with an installation area of 0.1984mm2 (typical value). Compared with Toshiba's current SOD-523 packaged products, the occupied area is reduced by about 85%, allowing high-density installation on the equipment. The product helps to effectively use the circuit board and improve the reliability of the equipment.
