     Tripp Lite's Medical-grade power strip is coated with a patented antibacterial coating that is 99.9% effective in inhibiting bacteria and viruses such as C. diff and MRSA. Patented antibacterial powder paint with epa registered and fda compatible silver ion technology protects power strips and reduces the risk of HAIs in hospitals and other healthcare Settings. The coating complies with JIS Z 2801:2000, the international standard for evaluating the efficacy of antibacterial products. When installed correctly, these power strips are approved for use near patient care.

     The power strip provides power to removable, plug-and-pull connected components mounted on racks, benches or pedestals in operating rooms, treatment rooms, imaging environments, administrative areas and patient care areas. They have a NEMA 5-15P-HG plug and NEMA 5-15R-HG socket, all of which are hospital grade. Select models include an integrated locking safety cover for added protection. There are also two built-in resettable 15A circuit breakers on these power strips to control power to all outlets and protect the power strips from overload.

     The switchless design prevents the device from being unintentionally turned off, and a 15-foot power cord provides ample arrival power. Mounting labels and flanges allow users to mount power strips on a variety of surfaces, such as IV poles, mobile carts, collision carts, and mobile medical workstations.
