Type m12 signal, data and power connectors

     Binder has extended multiple M12 series for multiple products of automation technology. Applications range from basic sensor/actuator cable to industrial measurement and control technology, industrial Ethernet to autonomous robot or cooperative robot. The product development is based on the requirements of the relevant DIN EN IEC 61076-2 standard of m12. It follows the current trend in miniaturization, variability and cost-effectiveness.

     Like all M12 series products of the company, these products meet at least IP67 protection level. Because of coding, they are mechanically robust, durable, and developed for user safety. Several shielded or shielded product versions can be used in industrial environments with electromagnetic loads.

     All M12 connectors provide minimum IP67 protection to prevent dust and water from entering. The special version also provides the application of IP68 and IP69K sanitary requirements. According to different designs, connectors are designed for different application scenarios: versions with special terminals, such as crimping or clamp technology, are ideal for vibration applications; Others are ideal for outdoor use, such as anti-ultraviolet radiation. Plastic, metal or stainless steel shell can be used according to different application fields.

     This year, the company announced the further development of push-pull lock and M12 single cable solution. It is developing M12 connectors with external push-pull locks. This variant complements the M12 threaded product's push-pull lock in the M12 design. When the plug is pressed on, the cable side is locked with the device side instead of tightening. This product is designed in accordance with DIN EN IEC 61076-2-010, and is backward compatible with M12 screw locking device side, and represents a very flexible and time-saving connection concept.
