U-blox launched a new indoor positioning scheme. Come and see what changes have taken place

U-blox announced the official release of the u-blox ANT-B11 antenna board. This new product combines Bluetooth technology with u-blox innovative technology to provide high-precision direction finding and 2D indoor positioning functions, which can be integrated into commercial asset tracking solutions, especially suitable for medium-space direction finding applications and indoor positioning solutions.

Provide convenience for indoor orientation and positioning

Given the limitations of cutting-edge location technologies such as GNSS in the indoor location space, u-blox has been working to address the new challenges posed by indoor location. Both the latest ANT-B11 and its predecessor, ANT-B10, released earlier this year (Click underline to learn more), are better equipped to address these challenges.

Equipped with a u-blox Nia-B411 Bluetooth 5.1 module, ANT-B11 runs u-connectLocate software and supports u-blox's unique Angle algorithm. ANT-B11 can be used as indoor AoA anchor point when combined with the application board. The arrival Angle calculated by the antenna plate can be directly applied without additional processing.

The ANT-B11 can quickly output high-precision azimuth or altitude angles in less than 1 second, which helps track and position assets accurately in 2D visual applications. For 3D positioning, customers can upgrade to ANT-B10 series products.

As u-blox's smallest package to date (29.5x93.5 mm), the ANT-B11 has the same accuracy and ease of integration as the ANT-B10. Powered by u-blox's innovative technology, ANT-B11 combines high precision, high performance, and better cost control to provide customers with a more cost-effective indoor positioning solution.

Wide application

ANT-B11 is suitable for tracking indoor assets, granting building access, collision avoidance and other directional applications with excellent results. It is ideal for industrial, retail and medical industries.

In addition, ANT-B11 enables accurate positioning in indoor environments, displaying asset location information in 2D form.
