U-blox pioneered Wi-Fi 6/E and Bluetooth 5.4 and LE audio solutions for industrial applications

     U-blox announces the MAYA-W3 family of dual-mode Bluetooth LE 5.4 modules with compact appearance and LE audio support. The modules also support Wi-Fi 6/E and are designed for demanding industrial applications, including medical, industrial automation and monitoring, asset tracking and management, and smart home applications.

     The MAYA-W3 is available in a variety of model options, including Wi-Fi 6, Wi-Fi 6/E, tri-band, dual-band, and single-band configurations. The module can be used with a variety of antennas, such as those with module pins or U.F.L connectors, and is equipped with an LTE filter that can be used with other technologies. The specific model selection depends on the desired performance.

     The u-blox MAYA-W3 series follows this trend, allowing a wide range of industrial applications to take advantage of the latest benefits of Wi-Fi 6 and 6 GHz bands. The modules reduce network congestion, improve power efficiency, and operate in temperatures ranging from -40ºC to +85ºC. The new module also allows designers to extend their solutions to capture current and future market trends. The MAYA-W3 series has the same compact size (10x14x1.9 mm) as its predecessor, which simplifies inter-generation migration.
