Ultra wide 85-305VAC input AC-DC power supply, suitable for 15W to 320W embedded applications

     XP Power officially announced the launch of AC-DC power supply LCW series with regulated output enclosure, which is an ideal choice for embedded industrial electronics, technology and equipment requiring family certification. The power levels of nine new series (LCW15, LCW25, LCW35, LCW50, LCW75, LCW100, LCW150, LCW200 and LCW320) vary from 15W to 320W. All modules comply with EN 55032 Class B conduction and radiation standards for low-cost integration, and are equipped with integrated connector covers to improve safety after installation.

     The input voltage range of LCW series is 85 to 305VAC, which meets the global regulatory requirements and is applicable to the rated input of 100VAC to 277VAC. 150W, 200W and 320W modules have active PFC functions. Applications include auxiliary power supply, safety devices, lighting control, smart home or office systems, as well as ticketing and vending machines.

     According to the power level, LCW series can provide 3.3V to 48V rated output. In order to adapt to non-standard voltage applications, all module products can be adjusted ± 10% by the user without exceeding the rated output voltage.

     LCW series has an ultra wide operating temperature range from - 30 ° C to+70 ° C. It can provide full rated power when the temperature reaches+50 ° C, and it can be linearly derated to 60% at+70 ° C. LCW series adopts natural convection cooling, with power up to 200W, while LCW320 series with higher power adopts integrated temperature controlled cooling fan, which can reduce noise.

     The thin and compact design of this product further simplifies the integration with terminal applications. The standard functions of LCW series include low standby power consumption below 0.3W, output short circuit protection, and over-current and over-voltage protection. In addition, the LCW320 series also has a power on LED. As an option, conformal coating versions are available.

     The input to output insulation of the product is 4000VAC, the input to ground insulation is 2000VAC, and the output to ground insulation is 500VAC. All modules comply with UL/EN 62368-1 safety certification, and modules in LCW35/50/75/100/150 series also comply with EN 60335 safety certification, which is applicable to home automation and applications requiring home or home approval. The operating height of the product is up to 5000 meters, which strengthens its global application.
