Ultra-wide input 610W power modules in rugged enclosures for industrial and communications applications

XP Power has announced the launch of two ultra-wide input range board and DIN rail mounted DC-DC converters for easy and fast installation in a wide range of industrial and communications applications. The DTE06 and DTE10 DC-DC converters offer 6W and 10W power and offer a 4:1 input range that provides wide tolerances for fluctuating power supplies.

The product is a plate mount type and screw terminal that provides simple, time-saving installation and connection. DIN rail mounting is also available for use in control cabinets and household consumer units. A well-powered LED indicator provides an at-a-glance confirmation of correct operation.

The product is IEC/UL/CUL 62368-1 safety certified and provides 3.0k VDC insulation between power supply and load. No additional filtering elements are required and the product also complies with EN55032 Class A radiation standards, meaning that no additional filtering is required to comply with EMC standards.

The product itself and its power supply equipment benefit from a range of safety features, including input undervoltage, short circuit and overload protection. Convenient remote on/off function makes this DC-DC converter easy to control. Rugged and competitively priced, the DTE06 and DTE10 series operate from -40°C to +105°C, with loads derating when temperatures exceed +80°C.
