Vesper introduces Adaptive ZeroPower Listening

     Vesper, the world's leading supplier of MEMS for piezoelectric sensors, announced the VM3011, the industry's first smart digital microphone with Adaptive ZeroPower Listening technology, which uses an unexpectedly disruptive energy efficient architecture. Extends battery standby life by 10 times while delivering the best acoustic performance in its class. The introduction of the VM3011 further expands Vesper's technological leadership in the low-power always-on auditory device market.

     Based on Vesper's patented piezoelectric MEMS sensor technology, the VM3011 leads the industry in quality and performance, and its release extends Vesper's already successful product family. Adaptive ZeroPower Listening technology automatically understands the real-time acoustic properties of the environment, enabling the system to ignore background noise and wake the device only in response to keywords or other desired acoustic trigger conditions, enabling the system to remain asleep 90% of the time. Can extend battery life by more than 10 times.

The VM3011 creates a whole new usage environment, and these systems can now run on battery power for months or years. Vesper has already started working with some key customers and plans to launch a VM3011-based product later this year."

     Targeted applications for VM3011 include iot products, portable smart speakers, smartwatches, remote control, security surveillance cameras, glass breaking sensors, automotive, medical devices, and other battery-powered systems.
