Vishay VEMI256A-SD2 EMI filter

     Vishay Intertechnology VEMI256A-SD2 dual channel EMI filter. The VEMI256A-SD2 is designed as a dual-channel filter array that helps suppress electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency interference (RFI) to provide two protection paths, while providing strong system-level electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection for interface line filtering.

     The Vishay VEMI256A-SD2 is a highly integrated dual-channel filter in an ultra-compact chip-level package ideal for tight space applications. The device has low leakage current, provides better ESD protection, and allows designers to filter and clamp two different signal or data lines to ground. Clamp voltage rating of ±30 kV prevents the protected device from being damaged by ESD pulse. VEMI256A-SD2 has passed the IEC 61000-4-2 test and meets the ESD immunity requirements. The rated values of contact discharge and air discharge are ±25 kV. The filter also has a cut-off frequency of 60 MHz (typical value), a line impedance of 60Ω (typical value), and an operating temperature range of 40°C to +150°C.

     VEMI256A-SD2 filter adopts 0.45mg CLP1007-5M package, can prevent short circuit, and has excellent cut-off voltage and small tilt and rotation characteristics, suitable for small space equipment. The filter also meets the UL 94 flammability standard and has class 1 J-STD-020 moisture sensitivity.

     The VEMI256A-SD2 is ideal for a variety of mobile and wired communication devices, including smartphones, tablets, portable electronic devices, display interfaces, keyboards, and high-speed I/O data ports.
