Vishay introduces a new series of 1.5W high voltage thick diaphragm resistors for increased design flexibility

     Vishay has announced the launch of its latest series of high voltage thick diaphragm resistors, the CRHP series, rated at 1.5W and operating at up to 3000V, in five small dimensions from 1206 to 2512. For increased design flexibility, the Vishay Techno CRHP series resistors are available in a variety of styles, electrode materials, configurations and custom sizes.

     The device has high rated power and operating voltage, with < Excellent stability of 0.5%. Resistance values from 2 MΩ to 50 GΩ, tolerances as low as ± 0.5%, temperature coefficient ± 100 ppm/°C. These specifications make it ideal for battery management in medical, communications, defense, industrial, automotive, and consumer applications, as well as for power inverters and voltage monitoring and regulation of high-voltage power supplies.

     The standard CRHP series resistors are available in either a nickel-shielded electrode with a solder coating or a non-magnetoelectric electrode with a solder coating and are available in three-sided roll packs or single-ended flip-chip configurations. Devices are also available in gold, palladium-silver, platinum, platinum-silver or platinum-palladium-terminated, five-sided coil configurations. Resistors are RoHS compliant, halogen-free and suitable for flow welding, epoxy bonding or wiring.
