Vishay introduces new automotive grade high voltage thin film flat sheet resistor

     Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. announced the launch of the 0805 form-size compact device to expand its TNPV e3 family of automotive grade high-voltage thin-film flat sheet resistors. Vishay Draloric TNPV0805 e3 is the industry's advanced 0805 size small device, operating voltage up to 450 V, tolerance as low as ± 0.1 %, TCR only ± 10 ppm/K.

 
     TNPV0805 e3 Small size, high voltage, can replace the larger package of resistors and a number of similar dimensions of the device, and does not affect the accuracy, reduce the number of components, save circuit board space, reduce costs. Typical applications include automotive and industrial inverter voltage measurements, battery management system dividers, on-board chargers, and test and measurement equipment.

     TNPV e3 series resistance dimensions are 0805, 1206 and 1210 respectively, resistance values are 121 kW to 3.01 MW, operating temperature -55 °C to +155 °C, the maximum size of the device operating voltage up to 1000 V. The resistance is very stable and reliable under various ambient conditions, with a maximum resistance change rate of 0.05 % or less for 1000 hours at rated power and ambient temperature of +70 °C, excellent moisture resistance (85 °C, 85 % relative humidity), and sulfur resistance in accordance with ASTM B 809.

     The device is suitable for SMT processing and automatic welding in automatic SMD assembly system. Resistance halogen free, RoHS compliant, pure tin plating compatible with lead free (Pb) and lead containing (Pb) welding process.
