Vishay introduces the TNPU e3 series of high precision thin film flat chip resistors

     Vishay Intertechnology has announced the introduction of a new, space-saving device in the small 0402 form element, extending its TNPU e3 series of automotive grade high precision thin film flat chip resistors.

     Vishay Draloric TNPU e3 series thin film flat sheet resistors offer the proven reliability of the TNPW series with increased accuracy, temperature coefficients as low as 5 ppm/K, tolerances no greater than 0.02 %, and excellent long-term stability - for example, at rated power P70. The maximum resistance change rate in 1000 hours is less than 0.05%. This unique combination makes this AEC-Q200 certified resistor ideal for applications such as operational amplifiers and sensor circuits in test and measurement, automotive, industrial, medical and communication devices.

     Expanding the 0402 package, the Vishay Draloric TNPU e3 series now includes 0402, 0603, 0805 and 1206 form factors with resistance values from 100 to 511 k. The new resistors have excellent moisture resistance (85 °C; 85% RH), sulfur resistance in accordance with ASTM B 809, operating temperature range -55°C to +125°C, even in harsh environmental conditions, to ensure extremely stable performance.

     The TNPU e3 series devices are suitable for SMT processing of automatic SMD assembly systems using wave soldering, reflow soldering or vapor phase reflow welding. Resistors are RoHS compliant, and pure tin plating is compatible with lead-free (Pb) and leaded welding processes.
