Vishay introduces the TNPU e3 series of new automotive grade high precision thin film flat chip resistors

     Vishay Intertechnology has announced the introduction of new devices with a temperature coefficient (TCR) as low as 2 ppm/K in 0603, 0805 and 1206 form factors, extending its TNPU e3 series of automotive grade high precision thin film flat sheet resistors. The device is suitable for SMT processing in automatic SMD assembly systems using automatic wave soldering, reflow soldering or vapor phase reflow welding. Resistors are RoHS compliant, and pure tin plating is compatible with lead-free (Pb) and leaded welding processes.

     Vishay Draloric TNPU e3 series resistors offer the recognized reliability of TNPW e3 products with higher accuracy, low TCR, tolerances of no more than 0.02%, and excellent long-term stability - for example, maximum resistance change rate ≤ 0.05% for 1,000 hours at rated power P70. This unique technical feature makes this AECQ200 certified resistor ideal for use in test and measurement, operational amplifiers and sensor detection circuits in automotive, industrial, medical and communications equipment.

     The TNPU e3 series devices have TCR as low as 2 ppm/K, form factor sizes are 0603, 0805 and 1206, and resistance values range from 500 to 20 k. The new resistors have excellent resistance to high temperature and humidity (85 °C; 85% RH), sulfur resistance according to ASTM B 809, operating temperature -55 °C to +125 °C, even in harsh environments, can guarantee extremely stable performance.
