Vishay introduces two new lines of automotive grade surface mount aluminum electrolytic capacitors

     Vishay Intertechnology has announced the launch of two new automotive grade surface-mount aluminum electrolytic capacitors -152 CME and 192 CTX - with voltages up to 450 V, operating temperatures of +125 C and a service life of up to 6,000 hours for automotive and industrial applications.

     Vishay BCcomponents 152 CME and 192 CTX series capacitors withstand high voltages and provide designers with great design flexibility while operating at high temperatures for extended service life and reliability in harsh applications. The polarized aluminum electrolytic capacitors are AEC-Q200 certified non-solid-state electrolytes and are ideal for smoothing, filtering and buffering applications in electric vehicles, industrial equipment power supplies and portable chargers.

     The 152 CME and 192 CTX series capacitors range in capacity from 2.2 µF to 33 µF and are available in seven form factors from 10 mm x 10 mm x 10 mm to 18 mm x 18 mm x 21 mm. The capacitors are RoHS compliant, charge and discharge resistant, have no limit on peak current, are suitable for the JEDEC J-STD-020 specification lead-free (Pb) reflow process, and are vibration resistant in 4 - and 6-pin models.
