Vishay introduces vPolyTan Polymer tantalum chip capacitor

     Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. announced the launch of a new series of vPolyTan Ô surface mount polymer tantalum molded chip capacitors -- T50 series capacitors, which have reliable performance under high temperature and high humidity conditions.

     Vishay Polytech T50 series capacitors adopt a firm design to improve the sealing performance and enhance the ability to protect against harsh environments. The device can work at a high temperature of+125 ° C, and after 500 hours of temperature and humidity bias (THB) testing at 85 ° C and 85% relative humidity, it is an ideal choice for decoupling, smoothing and filtering capacitors in harsh environments such as industry, national defense, aerospace and edge computing applications.

     The T50 series is an EIA 7343-30 device with an ESR of up to 25 mW and A ripple current of up to 3.0 A. Device capacities range from 10 µF to 330 µF and voltage ratings range from 2.5 V to 35 V with tolerance of ± 20%. Capacitors meet RoHS and Vishay green standards and are halogen-free.
