Vishay launched DC Link metallized polypropylene film capacitor meeting AEC-Q200 standard

     Vishay Intertechnology announced the launch of a new series of thin DC Link metallized polypropylene film capacitors that meet AEC-Q200 standards - MKP1848Se DC Link. Vishay Roederstein MKP1848Se DC Link is an advanced device in the industry. Under the conditions of rated voltage, temperature of 60 C/relative humidity of 93%, it has passed the temperature humidity bias (THB) test for 56 days to meet the application requirements of automobile in high humidity environment.

     The recently released automotive capacitors come in four thicknesses - 12 mm, 15 mm, 18 mm and 24 mm - and 12 standard sizes. This lead type device is thin in design and has high moisture resistance. It is very suitable for space constrained automotive applications, including HVAC systems, on-board and inductive battery charging systems, air conditioning compressors, and electric vehicle (EV) and plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV)motor drives.

     The rated capacity of MKP1848Se DC Link capacitor is 1 µ F to 75 µ F, and the ESR is as low as 3 m Ω. The device complies with RoHS standard, with ripple current up to 27 A and rated voltage of 500 VDC, 700 VDC, 900 VDC and 1200 VDC at+85 ° C.
