Vishay offers enhanced thick diaphragm resistors rated at 0.5W

     Vishay Intertechnology, Inc., has announced the availability of the enhanced Vishay Draloric RCC1206 e3 thick diaphragm resistor with 1206 profile size and 0.5 W power rating.

     The RCC1206 e3 has twice the power of this standard-size thick patch resistor and can be used to replace two 1206 resistors in parallel or a single device with a larger 1210 profile size. As a result, designers can save space on boards for automotive, industrial, communications, and medical applications while reducing the number of components and reducing processing costs.

     RCC1206 e3 is AEC-Q200 certified with resistance ranging from 1 W to 1 MW -- 0 W jumper -- accuracy of ± 1% and ± 5%, respectively, and resistance temperature coefficient (TCR) of ± 100 ppm/K and ± 200 ppm/K. Resistance operating voltage is 200 V, operating temperature range -55 °C to +155 °C. The device conforms to RoHS standard and is halogen-free. It is suitable for wave soldering, reflow soldering or gas welding process according to IEC 61760-1 in automatic SMT machine.
