Vishay's high power thick diaphragm resistors are ideal for high power and high pulse processing applications

     Vishay's RCS 0805 series provides thick film chip resistors with 0.5 W rated power and high pulse load performance. The series has a tolerance of ± 5%, ± 1% or ± 0.5% and a TCR of 100 ppm and 200 ppm. RCS0805 series has AEC-Q200 certification for automobiles, which is applicable to a wide resistance range from 1 Ω to 10 M Ω. It also has 0 Ω jumper, which has an enhanced maximum current capacity of up to 4 A.

     They also have excellent ESD surge characteristics of up to 1000 V and 1.2 of up to 2200 V μ s/50 μ S Surge voltage capability. With an enhanced power rating of up to 0.5 W, the RCS 0805 series also saves a lot of space for designers. For example, one RCS0805 series resistor can replace two standard 1206 thick film chip resistors, which reduces the number of components and saves about 75% of the board space.
