Vishay's new AC filter film capacitor can continue to work and stable in high humidity environment

     Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. launched a new series of AC filter metal polypropylene capacitors for high humidity environments --- MKP1847C AC filtering. Vishay Roadrstein MKP1847C AC filter capacitor can withstand harsh temperature and humidity bias (THB) test -at the rated voltage, temperature of 40 ° C, and 93 %of the relative humidity, the test has not changed.

     When working under the harsh environmental conditions released by the capacitor, the capacity and ESR value are stable, and the service life cycle is long. Compared with the previous generation device, in the same packaging size, the MKP1847C AC filter series capacitor has higher humidity stability and reduced costs. The device is reliable, suitable for the UPS system, renewable energy inverter grid connection interface, and input and output filtering such as welding equipment.

     MKP1847C AC filter series capacitor rated capacity 1 µF to 70 µF, capacity tolerance is as low as ± 10 %, and the rated voltage is 230 VAC, 250 VAC, 275 VAC, 310 VAC and 350 VAC. The spacing spacing of the capacitor is less than 1 nH, the peak current reaches 750 A, and the RMS current is as high as 26 A. New series capacitors with reliable performance are sealed with refractory plastic shells and resin, and the highest working temperature is +105 ºC.
