Vox Power Ltd - Recently released the EIRE300 Series of open AC-DC power supplies

     Vox Power is proud to announce the EIRE300 AC-DC power supply family, an advanced product family that combines compact design, ultra-high reliability and energy efficiency. The EIRE300 is designed for medical electrical equipment and information technology equipment applications with an output power of 300 W and peak power up to 375 W in a compact 4 "x 2" package and a slim 1 "form factor.

     With a class-leading power density of 37.5 W/in³ and a conversion efficiency of up to 95% that significantly reduces power loss, the EIRE3000 series outperforms all other products in the market. The EIRE3000 can be operated in natural convection cooling conditions with an output power of 200 W (115VAC), and this unmatched adaptability makes it suitable for a wide range of applications.

     For seamless integration into medical and industrial applications, the EIRE300 features dual patient protection isolation (2 x MOPP), low leakage current features, standard mounting holes and a dedicated auxiliary fan power supply. Other standard features include two internal fuse lines, remote sensing and an AC_OK indication signal. The EIRE300's ultra-low standby power consumption is typically 0.25W, making it ideal for energy-critical applications.

     The product range is not only certified to the latest international standards for the safety of medical and information technology equipment, but also meets the BF level safety standard for medical equipment requiring direct contact with patients. BF ratings are critical for applications such as surgical instruments and critical care medical equipment to ensure that products can be used near patients without fear of electrical hazards.

     The EIRE300 series offers a wide range of product options with output voltages from 12V to 60 V, including standard options such as 12V, 15V, 18V, 24V, 28V, 36V, 48V and 54V. Each output voltage has a wide adjustment range, making it compatible with the requirements of most non-standard voltages in that range. The product comes standard with a full range of protection features, such as overvoltage protection, overcurrent protection and overheat protection.

     The EIRE300 series is designed for Class I and Class II electrical equipment and meets Class B electromagnetic compatibility standards in conducted emission and radiative emission characteristics. The EIRE300 is capable of operating at altitudes up to 5,000 meters and is certified 60601-1 and 62368-1 for medical and information technology equipment. It also complies with 60601-1-2 (electromagnetic compatibility), 60335 (household equipment), 61010-1 (measurement, control and laboratory equipment) and 61558-1 (power transformer safety) standards.

     In order to maximize reliability and performance, ultra-long life electrolytic capacitors are used in the product design scheme, and conformal coatings are standard to prevent environmental pollution. Its high energy conversion efficiency greatly reduces the heat generation of the system, supports a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to +70°C, and has a calculated mean time to failure (MTBF) of more than 500,000 hours.
