Vox Power has launched the VCCR300 series of conductive cooling power units

     Vox Power has announced the VCCR300 series of conduction-cooled power supplies, a rugged and highly reliable DC/DC power supply capable of quietly delivering 300W of power. With a compact form factor of just 7.43 x 4.6 inches and a thickness as low as 1 inch, the product ensures easy integration into the system from almost any direction, giving system designers great flexibility and saving space.

     The VCCR300 series offers a wide DC input voltage range to meet the 48V, 72V, 96V and 110V railway battery standards specified in EN50155. Its high-efficiency design minimizes heat output and achieves a wide operating temperature range from -40°C to +70°C (lasting 10 minutes at +85°C) with minimal cooling requirements. The product family offers standard output voltages of 12V, 24V, 36V and 48V, all with a wide adjustment range of 90% to 125%.

     The wide input voltage range of the power supply follows trends in markets such as battery electric vehicles (BEVs), which are moving towards higher bus voltages to improve power efficiency as circuit design requirements increase. Ideal for applications such as telecommunications, roadside equipment, 5G applications, electrified mobility equipment and transportation devices, the product is designed to provide reliable, robust and sustainable power while resolving space constraints."

     With on-board droop current sharing, end users can increase or decrease the number of power modules depending on their power needs, enabling power solutions at 300W, 600W, 900W and even higher power levels, and evenly distribute the power load between each 300W product.

     The product comes with a standard internal fuse and can maintain full power output for 10ms after the input is turned off, while allowing the device to be placed in low-power standby mode via a remote shutdown signal, and the input undervoltage level can be programmed to meet the requirements of a specific application.

     The VCCR300 series meets the latest test standards for electronic devices in railway rolling stock (EN50155), MIL-STD-810G (Shock and vibration) and the latest industrial safety standards (IEC/UL62368-1 3rd edition). EMC radiation and immunity indicators are better than Class B requirements in EN50121-3-2, EN55035 and EN55032.

     With the most advanced form coating technology, the product is protected from environmental factors, and the mechanical support of the product is added to improve reliability and performance. With a calculated mean time to failure (MTBF) of more than 2 million hours and a rugged package that guarantees long-term reliability, the VCCR300 is the ultimate power solution for demanding applications in harsh and high-vibration environments.
