Working principle

The basic working principle of inductive proximity sensors is to use the interaction between a high-frequency electromagnetic field and a target object (usually a metal). When a metal object approaches the sensing area of the sensor, the distribution of the electromagnetic field will be changed, resulting in changes in the internal circuit parameters of the sensor, which triggers the output signal to realize the detection of the target. This non-contact detection method avoids physical wear and extends the service life of the FQPF18N50V2 sensor.
